Ackfeld Park

Ackfeld Park consists of a total of 6.8 acres of land. It is located at the intersection of Shrewsbury Avenue and Sutherland Avenue, behind the Police and Fire Station. The park has a ballfield and two tennis courts. A sand volleyball court is located east of the aquatic center parking lot.

Brinkop Park

Brinkop Park’s 3.4 acres are nestled in a beautiful residential area west of the intersection at Nottingham and Laurella. A new playground and walking trail were installed in 2000. The park also has a ballfield, multi-purpose court, pavilion, and restroom facility.

Amenities: BBQ grill, ballfield, basketball court, drinking fountain, electric, lights on courts, multi-use court, pavilion, playground, porta-john, restrooms, walking path, water spout, maximum capacity 50, and available for rent

Festival Site

Hartry Park

Hartry Park is the smallest park located in the City of Shrewsbury. The park is one acre of pure enjoyment and is located at 4100 Exeter Avenue. There is a newer playground and a multi-purpose court for all to use.

Amenities: basketball court, drinking fountain, multi-use court, playground, porta-john, and walking path

Wehner Park

Wehner Park is Shrewsbury’s largest park consisting of 31.8 acres. This park contains three ballfields, one soccer field, two pavilions, two playgrounds, and two tennis courts. Wehner Pavilion is located at 7600 Hazel Avenue, and the Festival Site Pavilion is located at 5200 Lenox Avenue. Wehner Park is a great place for all ages to enjoy!

Park & Pavilion Rentals

Water for restrooms and drinking fountains is typically turned on at the beginning of April and turned off at the end of October, weather permitting. Call (314) 647-1003 for more information or for rentals.
