The Shrewsbury Lions Club
The Shrewsbury Lions are men and women dedicated to
serving those in need whether in our own community or half way around
the world. We are a service organization that holds various fundraisers
for the visually impaired and other charitable organizations. Meetings
are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month. For membership information,
call Steve Bumbera at 647-5200.
Shrewsburians
We invite all Shrewsbury residents ages 55 and older to stay
in touch with our great community. We offer the opportunity to hear the
mayor speak and answer questions, learn about upcoming recreation trips and
activities, enjoy entertainment and refreshments. Celebrate major holidays
with our wonderful catered lunches. This is a city sponsored organization
with minimal dues. Meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 12

VFW Post #3206
Veterans of Foreign Wars is an organization open to all
veterans who have served in a combat zone overseas and have an honorable
discharge. The men’s post meets on the 1st Thursday of every month at the
Shrewsbury City Center. The ladies auxiliary meets on the 2nd Wednesday of
