Camp Counselors
We are seeking reliable and
responsible leaders to work as counselors for our Park Program and Dragonfly
camps. Applications are available at the Parks and Recreation desk.
Applicants will be interviewed and candidates must attend a training session
before camp begins.
Camp Dragonfly
Campers will create arts and crafts, learn new games, and
explore “field trips” on site each week! This preschool camp emphasizes
summer fun. Camp will be held rain or shine.

Park Program
This supervised outdoor program is held Monday through Friday in Wehner Park
from 9:00 a.m. to Noon for five weeks June 7 to July 9. Camp will be held
rain or shine. Registration deadline is June 1. Limited to the first 200 participants.
This camp will be held at Wehner
Park.

Post Camp Care
New this summer we will have extended hours
for our Park Program. After lunch your child will play games, make crafts,
watch movies, and two days a week go to the Shrewsbury Pool. Children will
need to provide their own lunch. (Note: lunches will not be refrigerated.)
Price is per child, per session and is good for one week of care. Space is
Limited.

Abra-Kid-Abra Summer Camps
Looking for a new and exciting camp for your kids to go to
this summer? Abra-Kid-Abra has a great line up of camps to give your kids
the skills to entertain all their friends. Each camp is a week long fun
filled camp which culminates with the students putting on a show for their

Art Camp
Learn the basic fundamentals for creating your own cartoons and caricatures
by using step-by- step approach to thinking and using basic geometric shapes
and forms. Eugene Ruble, professional cartoonist and animator, will instruct
students on the fundamentals for drawing humorous people and animals,
animation art, comic strip design, plus the use for
perspective/composition. You will have the opportunity to work with clay, do
dazzling painting, design caricatures and create collages and
montages. Please call for supply list. Lunch is not included, please bring
sack lunch.
