Parents’ Shopping Day Out

Have some last minute shopping to do? Need time to assemble or wrap those gifts? Just need some time to relax after the many weeks of the holiday madness? Let us help! We will make ginger bread houses, gifts for parents and grandparents, games in the gym and a pizza lunch.

Santa’s Personal Line

Receive a personalized letter from Santa! We have made special arrangements to forward letters “special delivery” to Santa at the North Pole! In your letter, please include your name, brothers/sisters, pets, Christmas list and any other information your would like Santa to know. Send your letter with a self-addressed stamped envelope to Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation, Attn: Santa Claus, 5200 Shrewsbury Ave., Shrewsbury, Mo 63119. All letters must be received by December 14th, at 8pm.

Holiday Lights Contest

The City of Shrewsbury would like to recognize residents who make the holidays a special season. Judging will start at 6:30pm on December 9th, it will be followed by hot chocolate and cookies at the City Center for anyone interested. The winner will be announced then. Call 314-647-1003 Before 8pm on December 8th to let us know you will be participating.

Life Line Screening

Are you concerned about the potential dangers of strokes, aneurysms, blocked arteries, or osteoporosis? Life Line Screening will be onsite providing tests to quickly detect symptoms for any of these conditions. These are non-invasive, painless screening that use ultrasound technology.
