Each year, Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation delivers exciting and affordable services to Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas. The success of our events and programs would not be possible without the support of our local businesses or “friends” of the department. Not only does your donation help Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation produce memorable special events throughout the year, but it also allows members of our community to attend free and low-cost programs. Your generous support of the Shrewsbury Community Sponsorship program will help us to continue to offer these wonderful family-friendly programs and also highlight our community business champions!

As a sponsor, we have different options for you to choose, levels range from Bronze with a $150 donation, up to Diamond with a $1,000 donation, and your rewards to donate increase at every level. With all sponsor levels, you’ll be recognized for your contribution to the event in different avenues and have the opportunity to meet the community at the event(s) you’ve chosen to sponsor.

By taking advantage of these exceptional advertisement and outreach opportunities, you become associated with fun, entertainment, and enjoyment of great experiences with the Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation Department. In addition, your participation is noticed by potential customers that take part in our programs! Looking for other ways to get involved or not the right time for you to donate? We're always looking for prize items and in-kind donations throughout the year and will have more opportunities to donate for upcoming special events next year. We are also looking for businesses interested in supporting our youth swim team, The Shrewsbury Sharks:
Our 200+ swimmers, ages 5-18 come from around our community (not only Shrewsbury, but also Webster Groves, Affton, and St. Louis City) and participate in meets through the Southwest St. Louis Municipal Swim and Dive League. I am in search of funding to support our team in the upcoming summer season to help us in several areas including recruiting quality coaches, purchasing training equipment for our swimmers, and covering costs for software, supplies and equipment used during the season. With a swim team sponsorship donation of $500, your business would receive the following recognition

Logo/business name printed on the back of our team shirt. All 200+ of our swimmers will receive a shirt.
Sponsors are invited to attend 4 of our team events and welcome you to set up an info tent if desired. Saturday 6/8 (Morning Fun Meet), Monday 6/17 (Dual Meet @ Kirkwood), Tuesday 7/9 (Dual Meet vs. Crestwood at Shrewsbury), and End of Season Party (Date TBD, Late July/Early August).

Be a Sponsor of Shrewsbury Summer Camps

Camp sponsorships help to support many facets of the summer camp experience. Through support from organizations like yours, we are looking for sponsorship donations to help cover costs for special guests, fees and transportation for field trips, camp t-shirts, theme days, camp BBQs, and pizza days. Your support will help us provide nearly 300 hours of fun, safe, and affordable care for kids in and around the Shrewsbury community this summer.

Your $500 Sponsorship Donation for Shrewsbury Summer Camps will be recognized in the following ways:

Your logo/business name is printed on the back of our 2024 camp shirt.
Weekly Newsletters: Your business is recognized as a sponsor on our weekly camp newsletters to parents.
Social Media and Camp Webpage: Your business is recognized as a sponsor on the Summer Camps page of the Shrewsbury Website and tagged in camp posts on the Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation Facebook Page.
